OMG!!1!June 29: Damn you Dave for showing me this site...I'm up to page 43 now and I cannot stop clicking! I Can Has Cheezburger has now surpassed Cuteoverload as my favorite timewaster of a site. Too freakin' cute! Things I HateJune 26: 1. People who hog the pole on the subway. You do not need to wrap yourself around the pole to ride to work damnit-SHARE THE FRIGGIN' POLE.
2. The state government for shooting down congestion charging. Damn Albany
For MayJune 17: I was tagged for the “8 Things Meme” by May The difficult part of this exercise will be tagging 8 people to carry it on: 1. I dislocated and broke my elbow in seven places when I was eight years old—it’s still a little crooked. 2. I like asparagus. 3. I love having my back cracked. Seriously, it’s awesome. I think it’s a drama school thing—we were all freaks about having massage and crackings done during breaks. 4. I have a pair of JCrew clogs that I bought five years ago for $12. They are a half size too big for me and I can’t get rid of them. Dude, they were $12. 5. I’ve lived in five states. 6. I am addicted to Coca-Cola Classic. I am trying to go off of it right now because it was rightly pointed out to me that I might just loose that weight I need to if I cut out my one Coke a day habit. Coke Zero is just not the same and Diet Coke sucks. 7. One of the mean girls in middle school through all my textbooks in the toilets of the girls room--my clothes she put in the toilets of the girls locker room--I spent the rest of the day in my gym clothes. I hate that bitch. 8. I need roughly nine to ten hours of sleep in order to feel rested and not be a crabby bitch. Needless to say, it rarely happens.
The rules of the Meme are: In classic Jenny Gill fashion, I lack eight people to pass it on to... Well, eight bloggers anyway. And I tag: No one. Seriously, we all know the same people. I suck, I know it. BUT we are in the same New York Age Catagory! But, "check out 'Elaine's'"? I used to live right around the corner--no thank you.
My New York age is 34This New York age puts you into a middle category between young and old (but not "middle age" per se). Be proud. You've got a nice balance between going out hard-core and staying in. You care about culture but also like some quiet nights. Keep it up, but think about expanding your horizons in the other directions. Head to Studio B or Anthology Film Archives for the first time, or finally check out the Village Vanguard or Elaine's for a dose of old-school NYC. Does your age reflect how you're living? Let us know. What's your New York age? Take the Time Out New York quiz and find out! read/add comments (2) |
