Check and CHECKJuly 19: Left tube opened: Check Well this whole thing has just been so much fun... Yeah. Fun. The surgery was a success, but what the FUCK is up with not telling a person that the percocet the doctor prescribed "just in case" will be utterly and absolutely necessary. Holy crap. Mom's all "just be sure you take a couple of days off work", Momma, a couple is two. I slept for about three days after this little outpatient surgery. Wake up in horrible pain, crawl to bathroom, pee, take percoset and fall back into a blissful fog of sleep. By the time I went to work five and a half days later it still wasn't done killing me. I would have gone home, but the thought of getting out of my chair and taking the subway was not doin' it for me. The really stupid thing is that the band aid they slapped over my glued back together belly-button gave me a blister the size of a lima bean. But let me remember it was all worth it. Yes indeedy. My period and LIFE should be better without that nasty ol' endo hanging around. And now we've got TWO sides open for business! That's got to help with the baby makin' business! We went to visit Colin and Erin on the occasion of her baptism and there was much cuddling. Dave thought me and her grandma were going to get into a fist fight over who got to hold her. Hey, I just went through surgery lady! On my FALLOPIAN TUBE. I win. |
